The Habanero pepper originates from the Yucatan and is widespread in Mexico, Texas, California and Costa Rica. In 1994 it was entered in the Guinness world record for having reached 577,000 Scoville degrees as a level of spiciness.
It is distinguished by a particular fruitiness mixed with notes of red pepper.
Cultivated at "La Casetta" harvested and immediately cleaned, washed and dried.
Drying takes place by means of a dryer with a current of air at 30/35°C. According to HACCP standards.
No sun and no dust!!!
